RONALDO WANTS NEW PLAYERS

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo wants the club to strengthen their ranks in the forthcoming winter window. The club is well off its usual pace in the La Liga though they maintain a decent form in Europe, where they are record back to back champions.

The Portuguese has been rumoured to have met with Ligue 1 giants PSG ahead of a possible move. Madrid’s open flirting with Neymar, his lower pay compared to the Brazilian and Lionel Messi, current form, possible change of environment or just a hint to his current employers – all these have been given as reasons for the secret meeting with PSG.

Whilst United fans had hoped he might return, so they could buy tickets to see him via this site and watch him dancing down the wing at Old Trafford once more, PSG is probably a more realistic destination – if he does go.

However, according to the latest reports Ronaldo has said he will stay if Real bring in reinforcements. He recommended three players for possible signing in January – a clear sign for a player that wants to leave or that is considering other options. He had earlier complained of why James Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata and Pepe were allowed to leave without being replaced.

Spanish publications report that the Euro 2016 winner asked Florentino Perez to look into three players: Kepa, Goncalo Guedes and Marquinhos.

Kepa is the top choice in La Liga in the market following his excellent performances for Athletic Bilbao. The Spain international would come at no cost as he is out of contract at San Mames. He would be a decent choice as David de Gea of Manchester United would be hard to lure now.

Guedes has been impressive for unbeaten Valencia in the La Liga. The loanee from PSG can be gotten next summer if Perez decides. The 21-year old has been making waves since he arrived in Spain from Paris. Reports claim Jorges Mendes asked Ronaldo to push for the player, being his client as well even though the player is very talented.

Marquinhos is making waves in France for his exploits with PSG. While he is under contract until 2022, Ronaldo hopes Madrid can lure the Brazilian, though a huge sum would be requested.

Zidane has hinted that there would be addition in January but he was firm that no player under his watch would leave in that window.
